Calibration Laboratory

Our calibration laboratory was one of the first in South Africa to attain official accreditation from the National Calibration Service (NCS) in 1983. The laboratory has also achieved accreditation in three electronic fields from the South African National Accreditation System (SANAS), which is a member of the International Laboratory Accreditation Co-operation (ILAC) and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF).

In other words certificates issued by our laboratory are internationally recognized. Over the years we have developed a solid reputation for superior turnaround time and the highest service levels.

This laboratory is SANAS accredited in the following fields:
No. 117 DC Low Frequency Metrology including capacitance, inductance and electrical calibration of temperature measuring devices
No. 517 Time and Frequency Metrology
No. 717 Radio Frequency Metrology including oscilloscopes
Traceable to international standards, calibration is offered for:
Temperature, Dimensional, Force/Torque and Mass, RF above 1 GHz
