Integrated Voice and Data Solution
The Convergence 30 has been designed to be the premium yet cost effective choice within
the small to medium business market. It provides the latest in telecommunication
technology in a single product from 8 to 40 extensions and crosses the divide between voice and data solutions.
The Convergence 30 has fulfilled three primary objectives in unique and innovative ways -
ease of operation, data connectivity and ease of maintenance.
- The use of features on PBXs has never been easier. With digital terminals all the
features are accessible from scroll down menus on a large easy to read display.
Features are also presented depending on the context of the call. Other unique
features are the ability of extensions to be either digital terminals or standard
telephones on the same port and the availability of caller line identification (CLI) on all
extensions. This means that even with standard CLI phones connected on any
extension, users can see who is calling on both internal and external calls. External
calls can even be routed according to the CLI number to enhance the customer
handling capabilities.
- A plug-in Internet Module provides the link between the voice and data and gives a
complete office solution. It offers multi-user high-speed Internet access using ADSL
and ISDN. It also provides a Local Area Network that allows users to network PCs and
share printers and other resources within the office.
It is easy to install and manage and can either be installed at the initial installation
phase or added later.
- Remote configuration and diagnostics enables the supplier to provide immediate and
appropriate back-up and support. Faulty modules can be diagnosed and replaced with
minimum disruption to the customer.
- Multiple Convergence 30 PBXs may be networked together creating a private Voice network, either via the built in ADSL modem or via direct iP connection. A SIP server is required for the networked sites. Router modules are available to provide either 2 or 12 VOIP channels. These channels may be for local iP phones, remote iP phones or networking channels.
The router module also contains a firewall, 4 port wired hub and wifi capabilities which can be expanded to provide up to 100 users internet access via the ADSL link.
