At Tellumat, quality assurance is a great deal more than an end-line process. It is synergistic, collaborative and capable of dramatically adding value by influencing the performance of all the products and systems we design and manufacture.

Tellumat Quality Assurance also directs processes relating to the calibration of equipment within the group (including radio frequency equipment), environmental testing (environmental stress screening, temperature, shock, vibration testing) quality auditing and inspection.

Our Quality Assurance division also verifies that incoming goods and information is correct and it vets design to ensure manufacturability from a quality perspective. It assesses processes and products as they move along the phases of development, through industrialisation to production. Complex inspections are also carried out throughout the manufacturing process.

We aim to keep improving the depth of our compliance with ISO standards, which requires up to six audits per year in order to qualify for accreditation. Tellumat Quality Assurance was one of the first South African companies to be awarded accreditation with ISO 9001:2000, the audit-based accreditation system that guarantees all aspects of development, design and services comply with the highest international standards.
