At Laingsdale Engineering we support our customers with our own engineering services – from the design concept to the realisation of the finished product. Our capabilities range from prototyping through development and industrialisation to large volume series Precision Mechanical Products production for consumption in the international market. Our in-house capabilities include tool making, CNC turning and milling, precision auto turning, fine gear cutting, presswork, metal finishing as well as assembly and testing. In the metal finishing department processes include electro-plating, aluminium anodising, brass passivation and chemical cleaning.

Our SABS ISO 9001:2000 certified factory in Maitland has a floor space of 7000m2 and houses a dedicated workforce trained in the manufacture, assembly and testing of intricate mechanical devices where a large range of Swiss automatic and special purpose machines are used. The production facilities include all aspects relating to precision manufacture and are flexible enough to manage unique prototypes or high volume production from procurement to finished product.
